The Republic of Costa Rica is a jewel in Central America. The country has coastlines in both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean with an ideal climate. It is known for its immense biodiversity of huge rainforests and towering mountains.
Nine amazing days of exceptional bird photography experiences from the time you arrive in Costa Rica until you have to leave this fabulous place.
With 943 species recorded on its territory to this day, Costa Rica is one of the most diverse countries in terms of bird species per square mile in the world. Four of these species are strictly limited to Costa Rica’s geographical boundaries and more than one hundred regional endemic species are shared with neighboring countries.
This tour has been designed to maximize the opportunities for the best bird photography in the country. The tour is relaxed and informal with not a lot of walking involved.
